Culinary Arts Meets Fashion: Tanqueray Showtime Takes Over Zereniti House

Tanqueray held its second edition of Tanqueray Showtime, an intimate, all-inclusive gin experience set for 25th April 2026 at Zereniti House in Limuru. Following a successful debut in December 2025, the platform continued to explore the convergence cocktail culture, gastronomy, and contemporary fashion in Kenya’s evolving social scene.

This second edition was themed “Botanical and Blush”, Showtime sought to transform Tanqueray’s signature botanicals into a lush, celebratory landscape of rich greens, soft blush, champagne, and ivory. Set within the grounds of Zereniti House, a boutique property renowned for its blend of heritage and modern design, the experience was limited to a small guest list of 40, giving it a sense of calm exclusivity and high-end flair.

Renowned chef Kim Kiarie brought his popular nomad table, treating the eager attendees to a spectacular culinary experience with his curated culinary experience. Kim will guided guests through a carefully crafted four-course gastronomy journey that will be paired with a unique Tanqueray variant designed to emphasise and enhance the interplay of flavour, aroma, and craft. The menu, inspired by familiar Kenyan items such as beef, chicken, tilapia, and lemons, reimagined regular foods through refined technique and delicate floral infusions, providing guests with a fresh take on indulgence and simplicity.

“This experience aims to show that simple can be elegant and traditional can be uplifted through fusion and infusion,” said Chef Kim Kiarie.

“Showtime gives enriched experience seekers a new way to connect with Tanqueray through creativity, culture, and craft. We are designing immersive experiences that unite fashion, lifestyle, gastronomy, cocktail mastery and sustainability. Kenya continues to lead in creativity, and Showtime allows us to work with the country’s boldest talent to bring elevated, premium moments to our consumers,” said Nancy Nansikombi, Tanqueray Brand Manager, East Africa.

Guests also interacted with the craftsmanship behind the glass during a cocktail masterclass led by the Tanqueray Brand Ambassador. The “Creators Corridor” was a bona fide fashion show, laden with live model moments that blurred the line between presentation and performance, taking the audience on a journey of craftsmanship and styled.

The Showtime platform marks a new chapter for Tanqueray in Kenya, inviting consumers to embrace the spotlight and elevate their everyday moments, and secures Tanqueray’s role as a curator of exceptional, memorable experiences. Meanwhile, Chef Kim’s nomad table is a breath of fresh air for culinary lovers, and he continues to push the envelope in a never-seen-before tangent.
